A Dad Connects With Moody Teen Daughter in a Charming Spot From Allianz

Insurance brand Allianz aims to communicate the tagline "every car has a story" in its new campaign out of London agency 18 Feet and Rising. It kicks off with this charming, "imperfect" spot about a father who finally gets through to his typically moody teen daughter as he gives her a ride home from school.

Although she's pretty monosyllabic in the beginning, once he asks her about her singing lesson it's a different story. She starts hesitantly singing Culture Club's "Karma Chameleon," a little off-key, and Dad joins in (badly) as there's a delightful moment of connection. Veteran commercials director and documentary maker Errol Morris directed the ad through Moxie Pictures.
