Editor's Pick
Using Geolocation along with Facebook and Twitter, Carmichael Lynch and the Denver Museum of Nature & Science are launching a real-world fossil hunt to tease the upcoming exhibition, T. Rex Encounter.
The search involves a dinosaur fossil that has been buried somewhere in Colorado. Clues to its location and final GPS coordinates will be posted to the Museum's more than 20,000 social media followers beginning August 8th. The person that finds the cast will win a one-year family membership to the Museum, a family-four pack of IMAX 3D passes, and an honorary paleontology degree.
T.Rex Encounter is a temporary exhibition that opens September 16 at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science.
