Amazon has placed what it's claiming is Times Square's largest-ever ad installation with a seven-story- high replica of an Echo.

The 79-foot aluminum structure has a circumference of around 24 feet and weighs over seven tons, and is part of a billboard promoting Amazon Music and running on one of Outfront Media's largest billboards in Times Square.

While it's not interactive, the Echo installation includes an LED light ring programmed to replicate the pattern activated when a user asks Alexa a question in real time.

Media company Rapport, in partnership with Traction 3D, led the conception and fabrication of the replica build.
