Tom Brady sparks a frenzy over a 'trade' in latest FTX crypto ad
New TV spot shows different NFL teams getting excited about his potential transfer
Editor's Pick
NFL teams get all excited about a potential move by Tom Brady in the player's latest ad for FTX, after he mentions that he's thinking of making a "trade."
Of course, the trade in question is crypto trading, not a transfer to a new team, but that reveal doesn't come until the crypto-savvy quarterback has created a frenzy of gossip and excitement in cities including Boston, New Orleans, Denver, and more (as well as disappointment in his current team city of Tampa).
Brady's wife Gisele Bundchen also makes an appearance, as women in a yoga class speculate about where she wants to live (L.A., naturally). The ad ends with the line "Trade everything but Tom Brady."
Prior to the ad airing on TV on NBC during the Sunday Night Football clash between the Steelers and Seahawks, Brady and Bundchen had a Twitter exchange fueling some speculation about the "trade." Brady later tweeted the spot.
The commercial is the second by FTX to star the power couple following its debut ad last month, which saw Brady and Bundchen call their friends to get them in on crypto trading. The couple took an equity stake earlier this year in FTX. Like that spot, this one was created by Dentsu Mcgarrybowen and directed by Matt Aselton of Arts & Sciences.
