UK lager brand Carling looks fondly back to an iconic 80s campaign in a new spot by Creature London set to break this weekend. Stephen Frost and Mark Arden, the comedy duo that starred in the classic "I Bet He Drinks Carling Black Label" ads by WCRS, look on as a younger pair of lads attempt a jaw-dropping trick shot on a pool table, prompting the verdict "It's good…but it’s not quite Carling". The new spot was directed by The Sniper Twins out of Smuggler. The original ads included 1989's Dambusters, a spoof of the classic war film, which won Gold at Cannes and featured Frost and Arden as a pair of RAF pilots, and Launderette a spoof of the Levi's ad featuring Nick Kamen.
