This Trump 'America First' Der Spiegel Cover Is Amazing
Edel Rodriguez Debuts Another Stunner With the President and Statue of Liberty's Chopped-Off Head

Editor's Pick
The venerable German news magazine Der Spiegel has released its Feb. 4 cover and it's a stunner.
Titled "America First," it shows a knife-wielding Donald Trump holding the Statue of Liberty's head, which he's obviously just chopped off. If the style of the cover looks familiar, it's because the illustration is by Edel Rodriguez -- the same artist who did Time magazine's famous "Meltdown" and "Total Meltdown" Trump covers last summer and fall. Rodriguez was a member of the Creativity 50 class of 2016.
It's certainly a loaded image (it calls to mind horrific social media videos of terrorists beheading hostages); it'll be interesting to see if the Tweeter-in-Chief responds.
A story within the issue, titled "Mephisto's Plan," goes on to explore Trump and his adherence to suggestions from his chief strategist Steve Bannon -- "now the most dangerous man in America," as Der Spiegel describes him.
