First Lady Michelle Obama, Meryl Streep, Oprah and Tina Fey are among the A-list names who appear in this star studded film created by BBH Los Angeles, in support of The White House and Civic Nation, to launch the first "United State of Women" Summit.
The conference, which will address critical issues facing women in 2016, takes place in Washington D.C. on June 14. In the film, advocates who also include Kerry Washington, Connie Britton, Laverne Cox, Shonda Rhimes, Jessica Williams, Indra Nooyi and Tory Burch, set out the manifesto for the conference -- including a "Duh" moment from Williams that sums it all up nicely.
The campaign is the first from BBH LA as participants in the Creative Alliance, the connection between Civic Nation and the top U.S. creative, technology, design and communication talent.
Pelle Sjoenell, BBH Worldwide Chief Creative Officer and Founder of BBH LA, said: "Equality is fundamental to me personally, but it's so much bigger than an agency, industry or American issue. It's about humanity. We feel incredibly fortunate and honoured to be helping The White House to make a difference on this matter."
