The arresting 3-D figures in this Norwegian print campaign represent a new direction for Asko, notes creative Hans Martin Rønneseth at Oslo agency Shnel & Melnychuck & Forsman & Bodenfors. Why go this strange route for a washing machine? Because, well, it's a washing machine. "I guess we all care more about our favorite jeans than our washing machines," he says. As an indication of just how small the creative universe has become, the puppets, backgrounds and the photography are the work of Chris Sickels and his Red Nose Studio, which is found far off the beaten path in Greenfield, Ind. The job was handled long distance, says Rønneseth, and Red Nose was discovered via the internet.
