Nothing says page views like a slide show that forces you to click through 66 different photos! And while I'm sort of opposed to such gimmickry on principal (and because it can quickly spin out of control, becoming an all-consuming project that takes over your life and makes you kinda hate puppies), I'm pretty much going to always click on old-school ads dripping with sexism, gun play, drug references, bad fashion and the phrase "She may look clean, but ..." James Lileks is always one of my first stops for these things. (He created a series called the "Out of Context Ad Challenge") But Fox News has jumped on the action with "Funny and Freaky Ads From Our Not-Too-Distant Past."
