Mark Green, the co-founder and CEO of Australian creative agency The Monkeys, has been named global CEO of Droga5. As part of the move, Accenture Song, the parent of both agencies, will merge Droga5 and The Monkeys.
Green also held the title of Australia and New Zealand Lead of Accenture Song. A successor for this role will be named soon.
Green, currently based in Sydney, Australia, is expected to move to New York as part of his appointment, which will be effective in October. Following the move, The Monkeys will become part of Droga5. The transition will become official on Dec. 1
Green succeeds Sarah Thompson, who departed from Accenture Song in 2022. She held the global CEO title at Droga5 before being named global lead for Accenture Song’s communications unit, leaving the Droga5 title vacant.
