Suzanne Powers, who most recently served as global chief product officer of McCann Worldgroup and chair of FutureBrand, is departing from those two roles to launch her own company. McCann Worldgroup will be her first client.
Powers, who has been with McCann for more than a decade, will officially leave her post at the end of the year, the Interpublic Group of Cos. agency said in a statement. The new company will focus on “helping people and organizations intentionally plan for creativity that drives business impact,” according to a statement from McCann. It was not clear what the company would be called, though it is expected to launch in late January, Powers said.
