15 creative campaigns to know about today
ADP: Copiers and vending machines have minds of their own in a humorous spot from Arnold promoting ADP’s new AI features.
Better: The “climate store” that makes products for a better planet unveiled a 60-foot, hand-painted billboard in Los Angeles spoofing personal-injury lawyer ads—asking if you’ve been “Injured by climate change?” The hotline, 877-365-1816, offers cheeky yet informative tips on climate action. The campaign was created by Spacecraft Earth (the agency behind Better) in collaboration with Mike Farrell, group design director at 72andsunny. Artist Sean Bono painted the mural.
Foot Locker: A multi-brand holiday campaign from Preacher, “Step Into Your Gift,” includes spots with NBA athletes Anthony Edwards for Adidas and LaMelo Ball for Puma, Grammy-nominated artist Coi Leray for Adidas and other influencers.
Kroger: The food retailer’s 2024 holiday spot from adam&eveDDB New York is all about food sharing, with a little boy taking food from his own home to make a feast for a lonely neighbor.
La-Z-Boy: The reclining armchair brand is taking a surprising stance on reclining on airplanes: It wants to ban it. A campaign from Colle McVoy and its earned creative and PR arm, Exponent, asks consumers to sign a petition at BanReclining.com. Five people who do so will win prizes such as a free La-Z-Boy recliner and a $500 airfare credit. There will also be activations in Time Square and at three top airports.
Michaels: A crafts-obsessed yeti stars in seasonal spots for Michaels from Oberland and director Oren Brimer that show off the range of holiday creativity at Michaels, including trees, decor, ornaments and DIY supplies. The yeti is voiced by comedian Dan St. Germain.
Milliways: The biodegradable gum brand made a bizarre ad with people biting into plastic objects to raise awareness that most chewing gum contains plastic.
Napoleon Grills: The grill maker will help sell your old grill, using Facebook ads, in this Israeli campaign by agency Blanco. People can send in photos and details of their old grill. Napoleon then takes over, creating and placing Facebook ads targeting potential buyers based on location, interests and purchase likelihood.
Olipop: The soda brand’s heartwarming holiday spot from Callen tells the animated tale of two lovable but misunderstood yetis. Visually it recalls Claymation Christmas classics such as Rankin/Bass’ “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.”

Rover: The pet-sitting brand unveiled two new animated spots in the style of its charming 2023 “To My Hooman” campaign. “Toyses and Tinkles” and “Dirt and Flirt,” created by agency Little Hands of Stone, focus on the uniqueness of every pet—and how Rover sitters love your pet for the same reasons you do.
Samsung: The smartphone maker’s new spot likens Apple’s relationship to consumers to a game of “Simon Says,” where people must obey the brand’s every word—unless they can break free and choose Samsung instead. BBH USA created the spot.
Sprite: Anthony Edwards steps in for an injured Santa, in this holiday campaign for Sprite by Majority and WPP Open X. The NBA star is seen delivering Sprite Winter Spiced Cranberry to holiday gatherings everywhere, just in time for “Sippin' Season.” The spot is narrated by rapper Monaleo.
Suchard: The Mondelez chocolate brand unveiled a lovely animated holiday spot from Ogilvy Spain featuring a lonely, rock-collecting robot on Mars who tries to get in the Christmas spirit in his own small way.
