Amica Insurance The insurer partnered again with Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum, this time on a brand campaign themed “Protect Your Legacy.” A spot from Mother New York and Division7 director Ray Smiling highlights how Tatum’s tenacity and commitment on the court also shape his life beyond it. The ad also features Tatum’s mother, Brandy Cole. Apple The iPhone 16e gets a pair of spots, created in-house. The first, directed by Kim Gehrig, features a car-dealer-style “wiggleman” dancing to Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco’s song “Talk” (which debuted in the ad). The second, directed by Jordan Bahat, shows key features of iPhone 16e through a conversation between a man and his future self. Carnival Cruise Line, Kiehl’s, L’Oréal Paris, MNTN, Samsung These five brands all aired stunt-themed ads on the Oscars—starring only stunt performers—in a project that paid tribute to the stunt community. Disney Advertising helped to produce the spots. Chicas Divertidas Rap artist Megan Thee Stallion introduces her new tequila brand, Chicas Divertidas, which includes Blanco and Reposado, in a colorful spot featuring an original track by the same name. Citizens Trust Bank The first brand campaign in the Black-owned bank’s 100-year history tells the story of Heman Perry, who was turned away from a white-owned Atlanta store in 1921—an experience that inspired him to start a bank for the Black community, providing equal access to wealth to buy homes and start businesses. The ad was made by agency Guesthouse. Clemenger BBDO x Less Than 10% F*ck That Every year around International Women’s Day, corporations celebrate by asking women to share their expertise, experiences and insights—for free. This campaign pushes back on that with “The Fee Speech,” a ready-made, no-cost presentation women can use when asked to speak at IWD events without compensation. EA The video game maker is launching a co-op game, Split Fiction, with a special offer: Two friends only need to order one copy to play together online. A spot from Mother London suggests there’s an enhanced feature, too: If you don’t have a friend to play with, they’ll ship one to you in a box. (They’re joking—we think.) Jameson Irish Whiskey The liquor brand announced partnerships with Anderson .Paak and Fender for St. Patrick’s Day. Assets include a limited-edition bottle with custom artwork inspired by .Paak’s musical journey, as well as a bespoke Jameson x Fender guitar and amp design. A five-piece apparel capsule designed by a leading streetwear brand will be added in the coming weeks. Los Angeles Tourism The Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board launched a spot themed “We Love LA,” featuring a version of Randy Newman’s “I Love L.A.” and featuring beauty shots of the L.A. area. There are appearances by Magic Johnson, basketball legend and Los Angeles Dodgers co-owner; Lil Buck, dancer; Mister Cartoon and his son Lefte, artists; Tonantzin Carmelo, Tongvan actress; Javier Cabral, food journalist and editor of LA Taco; Robert Vargas, muralist; and Raul Ortega, owner of food truck Mariscos Jalisco. The spot was directed by Matt Baron of Partizan and comes as L.A. looks to rebuild—and welcome back visitors—after the devastating wildfires. Morgan Stanley The investment bank and financial services company unveiled its newest spot, “Behind the Drive,” highlighting its work to invest in the next generation of leaders through a partnership with First Tee, a youth development organization that empowers children to develop life skills through the game of golf. Kevin Foley directed the spot. TMA was the creative agency. Saucony The running shoe brand on Tuesday debuted a new global campaign, themed “Run as One.” A 30-second spot features Saucony athlete Vanessa Fraser and creative collaborator Jae Tips, and showcases how running transcends the individual to become a collective experience. The campaign was led by Gus Johnston, Saucony’s creative director, and developed with The Agency, Wolverine Worldwide’s in-house creative agency, and produced by The Den, the company’s in-house production company, in partnership with Happy Place director Cam Hicks and photographer Will Reid. Teva The sandal maker’s new brand anthem, “For Playground Earth,” drops today. A 90-second anthem film from Kayser&Co highlights Teva’s focus on three core environments—trail, water and camp—where its performance and spirit of adventure shine.
