Just two weeks into 2025 and there’s already been talk of quantum computing, AI-powered everything and data, data, data. And if 2024 was about experimentation, this year will see some emerging tech mature as a tool for the marketing and advertising industry. Ad Age is once again looking for those who are driving this change and reshaping how the industry does business. The second annual Tech Power List will honor innovators from ad agencies, brands, platforms, ad tech companies, tech startups and everywhere in between. There are only two weeks left to enter the Tech Power List; the final deadline for entries is Friday, Jan. 24 at 5 p.m. ET. The Tech Power List isn’t just for founders and C-suite executives. The awards program is open to individuals of any role within an organization—from up-and-comers to executive-level candidates—who led or played an essential role in a new tech offering, solution or activation in the past 12 months. What kind of tech innovation are judges looking for? All kinds. The 2024 Tech Power List saw generative AI pioneers; data diviners; leaders in the world of SSPs, DSPs, IDs, CTVs and all the acronyms in today’s marketing arena; and more. And it’s not just limited to use of emerging tech. As brands face more pressure in performance marketing, measurement and metrics will be increasingly important alongside data accuracy, privacy and standardization. Brand safety and trust will remain top of mind for marketers with the proliferation of deepfakes and misinformation. When is the deadline? The final deadline for submissions is Friday, Jan. 24, 2025 at 5 p.m. ET. How do I enter? In the entry forms, you'll have 350 words to the story of your nominee. Entrants can upload up to three supporting assets—case studies, creative pieces, links to product demos—and include testimonials from supervisors, clients and customers.
