On Oct. 3 and 4, the Ad Age Media Summit will explore the convergence of what was once two distinct marketing channels, and the pivotal role of data in transforming the landscape.
The two-day event looks at the evolution of media and commerce and how brands can leverage entertainment platforms for direct sales, enhance advertising effectiveness and build more meaningful relationships with shoppers. There will be conversations with leading streaming, retail and data executives on the current opportunities and the hurdles moving into 2024.
The 2023 Ad Age Media Summit takes place in person at City Winery in New York City. The location is at 25 11th Avenue in Chelsea, with the entrance at 15th Street.
On both Oct. 3 and 4, the event will run from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and includes breakfast, lunch and networking breaks.
The lineup features marketing and media leaders, including Roku Media President Charlie Collier, Ulta Beauty's new Chief Marketing Officer Michelle Crossan-Matos and executives from Macy's, prebiotic soda brand Poppi, vitamin maker Ritual, direct-to-consumer pet food company The Farmer's Dog, Poshmark and more.
Day one is all about streaming, with topics such as the new technologies changing TV advertising; the evolution of shoppable capabilities in TV; and how data clean rooms are helping brands bridge the gap between data insights and real-world implementation.
Day two is focused on the retail and e-commerce landscape, diving into what's next for retail media networks; the growth of live shopping; and the role of artificial intelligence in retail.
The event is designed for strategists, marketing leads and those in data-driven and media roles looking to make their media buys more effective, tap into emerging trends and better understand what audiences and shoppers are looking for today.
Programming will provide practical advice on a range of topics useful for everyone from C-suite execs to entry-level agency and brand employees. Attendees will hear TV and streaming execs, marketers at both established and emerging brands and agency players discuss the strategies that led to success—and offer a peek at how they're planning for what's next.
From now until Aug. 25, attendees can save more than $300 on tickets. An all-access ticket, which allows ticketholders to attend both days of the event, is $225 for Ad Age subscribers and $425 for nonsubscribers. One-day tickets are also available.
