Ad Age Tech Power List—what to know before you enter

Entries for the inaugural Ad Age Tech Power List are now open. If you are a marketing visionary leading brands in pushing the frontiers across a range of technologies, then this award is for you. Check out the latest Ad Age events and award programs What is the Ad Age Tech Power List? The Ad Age Tech Power List recognizes the most influential leaders in marketing, from brands, agencies, retailers and platforms, who were responsible for spearheading technological leaps in the past year. The advertising and tech industry have seen major advances in just the past 12 months, in areas ranging from AI to ad tech to mixed reality, and more. The Ad Age Tech Power List is for brand builders who adopted new mediums for advertising, such as within new video game worlds, or for creators who imagined new virtual products. For instance, Marriott Bonvoy opened a hotel world in Fortnite, and Nike and RTFKT designed Dunk Genesis Cryptokicks, which blended virtual and physical retail. The Tech Power List is also for anyone who took a chance on futuristic loyalty programs based on principles of digital collectibles, such as Starbucks. The Ad Age Tech Power List is open to marketers who put generative AI to good use creating new product lines, such as the teams at Coca-Cola and Revolve. Ad Age is looking for marketing leaders who created next-level ad campaigns for connected TV, working with platforms such as Netflix and Amazon Prime Video, which both developed ad-supported video this year. Tech experts who understand the power of data clean rooms and the cloud, and who see how those technologies ultimately will help power the AI transformation in advertising. The Ad Age Tech Power List has no limits, and it is open to anyone who can prove they saw innovation and grabbed it. Who is eligible? A successful candidate will have at least one example, from the past 12 months, of tech or digital innovation. Candidates can be from a brand, ad agency, publisher, tech platform or startup. The program is open to individuals of any role within an organization, from up-and-comers to executive-level candidates. Nominees from outside the U.S. are welcome to enter; all entries must be submitted in English. What are the deadlines? Entries for the Tech Power List will close early next year, with a final deadline for nominations of Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2024, at 5 p.m. ET. How much does it cost to enter? The entry fee for the awards is $375. You may nominate multiple executives from one company, but each must be a separate entry. No team entries will be accepted. How do I enter?
