Untitled has signed Grant Heslov, the director, producer and screenwriter, for commercial directing. Heslov, who won a producing Oscar for "Argo," has most recently directed a series of commercials for Nespresso and Mercedes as well as two TV campaigns in China, launching the E Class Mercedes Benz. In addition to his feature film work as a producer, which includes "Good Night and Good Luck," "The Monuments Men" and "August: Osage County," Heslov directed the comedy "Men Who Stare at Goats" and half the episodes of "Unscripted," a 2005 comedy-drama series that aired on HBO.

Hello and Company has signed commercial director Michael Norman to its roster. He has shot spots for brands that include Toyota, McDonald's, Sprint, 7-Up, JCPenney, The New York Times, and American Express, and his spot for Allergan's eye drug Restasis was reported by Nielsen as the most memorable TV spot of 2013 among women aged 13 and over.
1stAveMachine has added directors Baz and Martin Allais to its roster. Montreal-based Baz has been a longtime collaborator with Sid Lee on its work for Adidas, and has created several music videos and short films. Venezuelan-born Allais' work includes illustration on Oreo's Wonderfilled, as well as stop-motion and live-action music videos.
Revolver Films has signed Canadian director Bruce McDonald to its roster. His most recent film, "The Husband," has just been released in Canada and other films include "Roadkill" (1989), "Highway 61" (1991), "Dance Me Outside" (1994), "Hard Core Logo" (1996) and "Picture Claire" (2001). "Roadkill" won most Outstanding Canadian Film at the Toronto International Film Festival.
Italian-born director Matteo Bonifazio has joined MRB Productions' roster for exclusive representation in the United States as a commercial director. He has directed work for Sony, Reebok, Vodafone, Campari, Fiat, Fila, VW, Hyundai, McDonald's and American Airlines. He started his career collaborating with MTV Networks, shooting pan-European promotions and ads in London and Milan. He recently relocated from Spain to London, where he can be closer to the U.S. market.
Culver City, Calif.-based visual-effects house Zoic Studios has signed VFX supervisor Todd Shifflett. He joins Zoic with more than 20 years of experience from Rhythm & Hues, having worked on films including "Happy Feet," "Charlotte's Web," "Alvin and the Chipmunks," "Little Fockers" and "Snow White and the Huntsman," as well as projects for Coca-Cola. He began his career as a technical director at R/GA, working on a number of commercial projects.
Digital studio Reel FX Dallas/Santa Monica has added Ben Orisich and Justin Malone to its roster for commercial representation. Orisich, whom Reel will represent in Texas and the southwest exclusively, is a director/creative director/VFX artist who has helmed multiple Super Bowl spots and campaigns for ESPN, NBC, Nascar, Izod, Indy 500 and ABC. Malone, who will be represented nationwide, has directed spots for brands such as Southwest Airlines, Boost Mobile and Tecate, as well as documentary films including "Undocumented," "Hurry Up and Wait" and "Blue."
