Cannes Lions 2024 jury presidents include Cindy Gallop, Tor Myhren and Debbi Vandeven

Myhren, VP of marketing and communications at Apple, will helm the Film Lions jury—the first time an Apple exec has led a Cannes jury. And Vandeven, global chief creative officer of VML, will serve as president of the Dan Wieden Titanium Lions jury. Other jury presidents named today include Diego Machado, global chief creative officer AKQA, in Innovation Lions; Anselmo Ramos, founder and creative chairman of Gut, in Brand Experience & Activation Lions; and Prasoon Pandey, the filmmaker and former Lion of St. Mark recipient, in Film Craft Lions. The lineup of jury presidents includes 15 women and 14 men from a record 15 markets, with six presidents based in the Asia-Pacific region—also a record. The festival said it would announce a president soon for the Luxury & Lifestyle Lions, new this year, recognizing creative marketing in the luxury space. Among other changes this year, Cannes has retired the Mobile Lions competition and renamed the Radio & Audio Lions as the Audio & Radio Lions. For the first time, the festival is also demanding that entrants disclose whether they used AI in their work—and if so, how. Cannes Lions 2024 is due to take place June 17-21.
