Sabrina Carpenter springs into stardom

On June 21, when she announced her new tour, “The Short n’ Sweet Tour,” to support her forthcoming album release in August, Carpenter trended to the top of X with 76,400 mentions before 1 p.m. ET. Along with her album release, Carpenter will be headlining her first festival, Outside Lands—she’s replacing Tyler, the Creator, who pulled out. Carpenter also was a musical guest on “Saturday Night Live” in May and played at Coachella in April (a coveted gig and telltale sign of any artist “making it” in the music industry). Brands are naturally itching to partner with her. Carpenter did a holiday influencer campaign for Coca-Cola, posting an Instagram photo of herself gossiping with Santa while holding a rhinestone-encrusted can of the soda.
