The show garnered more than 60 million organic views, four million likes and 700,000 new followers across TikTok and YouTube, the agency said. The @Lily TikTok account grew from zero to more than 345,000 followers.
To promote the 2023 “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem” movie, Loop resurrected the classic “Turtle Boy” meme from 2007 in which a child painted as a zombie went viral for saying “I like turtles.” Jonathan Ware (“Turtle Boy”) resurrected his meme role for a campaign promoting the movie in which he pretended to review it. Ware also participated in an interactive live show on TikTok during which viewers engaged with Ware through challenges that appeared throughout the stream.
