NEW YORK (AdAge.com) -- Sometimes, some of the most notable Super Bowl ads come not from advertisers ponying up millions of dollars, but from the network airing the game. While Fox didn't top the stunt CBS pulled off during last year's Super Bowl -- lassoing David Letterman, Oprah Winfrey and Jay Leno in a single room -- the network did make some waves by offering previews of much-anticipated "X Factor" and "Terra Nova" while having some fun with promos for "House."
