Little Caesars has cast Eugene Levy, or more specifically, his eyebrows, for the brand’s Super Bowl spot. The commercial builds on the virality of the chain’s Crazy Puffs, and announces a new bacon flavor. In the ad, Levy opens a box of Little Caesars Crazy Puffs—four pizza dough cups filled with sauce and cheese and topped with garlic butter. “Whoa!” he says after taking a bite. His eyebrows raise, so much so that they take flight off his face. They flap around like a large, furry, winged bug, spooking a runner, scaring a mom and making caterpillars jealous before landing on his daughter Sarah Levy’s hand. “My dad’s eating Crazy Puffs again. Don’t ask,” she says to her concerned friend. Levy’s eyebrows flap back onto his face, and another customer asks if he has tried the new bacon and cheese flavor yet. The 30-second “Whoa” spot comes from McKinney and will air during the third quarter of Sunday’s game on Fox. The ad comes after Little Caesars saw positive reactions and sales from its Crazy Puffs, which launched last March. Little Caesars last ran a Super Bowl ad in 2020 that played on the idea that getting its pizza delivered was the best thing since sliced bread. That ad, the chain’s Super Bowl debut, featured Rainn Wilson as an executive at Sliced Bread Inc., whose company and career ended after Little Caesars began offering delivery of online orders. Levy previously appeared in Nissan’s 2022 Super Bowl commercial.
