For brands racking their brains about what to do for the Super Bowl, Walrus might have an answer. The agency announced today that it will create a Super Bowl ad for one brand—and if the spot doesn’t rank in the USA Today’s Ad Meter's top five, it won't charge a fee.
Walrus listed three reasons on its website as to why it's offering potential free work for the Big Game: "We haven't made a Super Bowl spot before. We think we'd be good at it. We want our parents to finally see something we've done."
The work would be a national spot, the shop said on its site. If the ad doesn't land on the top five of the USA Today's list, the brand would only be on the hook for media and production costs, Walrus said.
