This year, we were wondering how Newcastle and Droga5 N.Y. could top the "If We Made It" Super Bowl push from 2014, but then they really delivered by crashing the big game, along with 36 other advertisers with its Band of Brands ad. But they're one-upping themselves once again, already, with a new Super Bowl teaser for its "2016 mega-huge football game ad."
The teaser begins the drumroll right now, "just 52 short weeks" before the game, promising all sorts of futuristic Tomorrowland goodies like "high-speed cheese" and "mind-yodeling."
Like all Newcastle advertising, the work is brilliant in promoting the brand itself, while providing funny commentary on the mad circus that advertising can be -- especially when it comes to the big game.
