Of the many brand deals Ariana Madix has struck since her scandalous breakup with reality TV mate Tom Sandoval, Duracell remains the most amusingly catty.

The battery brand teamed up with the “Vanderpump Rules” star last June, all because of a notorious scene in Bravo’s “Vanderpump Rules” where Sandoval—trying to justify his wretched behavior toward his longtime girlfriend—complained that she never bothered to buy new batteries for their shared home. This, he seemed to suggest, was evidence that she never loved him.

Madix made a TikTok video for Duracell last year, ridiculing Sandoval. And now, the brand is back with a sequel, featuring—plot twist—Sandoval’s former personal assistant, Ann Maddox (who has since become Team Ariana).

The question posed by the new video: Who actually was buying the batteries. Because it seems it wasn’t Sandoval.

@duracell Ann buys her own batteries, too. And trust her, different is good. 🔋🧡🖤🖤 @ariana madix #annmaddox ♬ original sound - Duracell

Duracell seems intent on getting as much mileage as it can out of the Scandoval mess. And its ads are certainly touching a nerve—with Sandoval, anyway, who recently pointed to last year’s Duracell spot as a trigger for a mental health crisis he went through.
