To launch spin-off brew Skol Beats Senses in Brazil, No. 1 beer brand Skol worked with F/Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi on a spot that puts an elaborate twist on the typical beer-ad nightclub scene: It all takes place underwater. Special waterproof cameras and lighting were used to do the shoot in a giant tank, and divers were strategically positioned near the actors to supply them with oxygen between very quickly shot takes. The result is an uncanny dreamscape where things -- like bottles of the product -- that seem to float through the air really are floating (in water). Tropkillaz (DJ Zegon and Andre Laudz) created the original soundtrack for the ad.
