This company is encouraging people to bet on Brexit with bus ads
Dainsh campaign by Bet25 is running in Copenhagen as the deadline looms
Editor's Pick
As Brexit date looms on March 29, and Britain still isn't clear whether it's leaving or not, many Brits are convinced that its European neighbors are laughing at them. Now, they're betting on them too.
A campaign by Danish betting company Bet25 is encouraging people in Copenhagen to take a punt on whether or not Brexit will happen.
Created by local agency Uncle Grey, the ads have been rolling through the streets of the capital, Copenhagen, on the sides of buses and will continue to do so up until the Brexit deadline.
“For the most part people tend like to bet on traditional things horses and football scores, but the reality is that you can bet on anything. And the outcome of Brexit is as exciting as any game going on at the moment” says Morten Olsen, Odds Manager at Bet25.
Of course, you can also bet on the Brexit outcome in the U.K. -- the "Sun" newspaper reports the latest odds regularly (with Paddy Power this week giving the odds for Theresa May staying as Prime Minister on April 1st at 25 to 1). Although with things apparently changing by the hour in Westminster, it seems there's no such thing as a safe bet any more.
