With half a dozen product-focused spots for Seventh Generation to her name, it feels like Maya Rudolph never stops cleaning. The SNL alum has brought humor and serious improvisational chops to a staid category since 2016, when she belted out the now-infamous "Vajingle."
Her latest spots for the natural products company--from 72andSunny and directed by Matt Piedmont--feature more music and fruitful wordplay. In one, the West Los Angeles Children's Choir harmonizes about biological ingredients, while bandleader Rudolph urges them toward inspired verse, if not measured meter. In another, Rudolph pulls produce from a bag, incorporating food puns into her sales pitch as each new innuendo stretches credulity a bit further.
