Enterprise Rent-A-Car recently made us laugh with a U.S. spot in which its employees speak Klingon. Now, here's an ad from the U.K. in which Brits might as well be aliens to its American sales guy.

The spot, which continues the brand's U.K. marketing theme of "U.K. car hire with U.S. customer service," features Brad, a confident American, working with the more reserved Dave, a Brit, at the Enterprise showroom (the characters were introduced by agency Dare in a previous spot in 2014, that showed Dave translating Brad's American sales-speak.)

Dave is increasingly baffled by British customs such as dressing up in ridiculous suits for marathon running, wearing massive hats to horseracing and burning a "guy" on Bonfire Night.

Rawson Thurber at Caviar, who's helmed comedy feature films such as "We're the Millers," directed the spot, which is running on TV, accompanied by pre-roll ads also featuring the characters.
