New work for Copper Mountain also bigs up the joys of the slopes over social media, pot and more

Colorado ski resort Copper Mountain is taking a fresh approach to getting people on the slopes this year--its campaign isn't about so much about the perfect snow or cozy fireside accommodations, but about the joys off getting your kids finally off video games.

The resort's first work via new agency TDA Boulder includes a TV spot in which a video game avatar sits lonely and frustrated, counting the days off he's been off duty because the gamer is out on the slopes.

Meanwhile, outdoor ads include one with the words "Keeping kids off social media since 9am" as well as another that says "Providing legal highs since before getting high was legal."

The campaign also includes print ads bigging up the joys of actual reality versus virtual reality, and one that reminds you your kids will decide where you live one day.
