YouTube is looking out for the people that use its video service to upload stories in places where they might get into trouble (and that's putting it mildly) for doing so. The Google-owned service has created a "Face Blurring" tool that lets people pixelate out faces inside videos uploaded onto the site.

Human Rights advocates have praised the move, and others have noted that it could also be used for other people, for example to protect the identity of people that want to speak about sensitive subjects like sexual abuse.
