The lowly ampersand.

Editor's Pick
TBWA/Chiat/Day Los Angeles uses the ampersand to create a new campaign for home furnishing retailer Crate & Barrel. The campaign includes three spots that debut September 10, and celebrates relationships between a couple, a grandfather and a grandson, and friends during Thanksgiving, using the brand's Helvetica typeface against a stark white background.
The agency also worked on a refresh of Crate & Barrel's holiday print catalog, which will be unveiled Oct. 16 with a more editorially driven slant, featuring real families.
