'The Muppet Show' Has an Epic Revival to Promote Warburtons' Giant English Muffin
Kermit, Swedish Chef, Fozzie and More Get Together to Promote 'Giant Crumpets'

The Muppets have starred in plenty of ads (including a recent Super Bowl spot) but this spot, for U.K. bakery firm Warburtons, is the first we've seen that really recreates the spirit of the original "Muppet Show."
Created by WCRS and directed by Declan Lowney of Another Film Company, it's a two-minute long extravaganza that starts with Kermit the Frog visiting company CEO Jonathan Warburton to ask him if it's true they're introducing a "giant crumpet." Kermit's idea is to present "The Giant Crumpet Show," a full-on homage to "The Muppet Show" complete with the music and all your favorite characters. What's more, all the classic moments from the original shows are there -- from Fozzie Bear telling a terrible joke to Beaker setting fire to something and Miss Piggy trying to seduce the special guest star (Warburton) in his dressing room. Muppet fans will love it.
The spot broke this weekend during "The X-Factor" and promotes (if you hadn't guessed it) the brand's Giant Crumpets (a crumpet, for U.S. readers, is a little like an English muffin).
