Dame D.O.L.L.A. aka Damian Lillard drops a new diss track and music video for Hulu
NBA star continues the brand's 'Sellouts' campaign from Big Family Table

Over the last year, Hulu has tried to remind viewers that despite the pandemic, its live sports broadcasts have lived on. But now as we head into 2021, the streaming platform wants people to remember that it has a lot of other things going on outside of football fields and basketball courts.
To convey that message, Hulu brought back one of its spokesathletes, Portland Trail Blazers Point Guard Damian Lillard, to perform an original tune.
The NBA star is also a proven rap star, having already released three albums under his artist name Dame D.O.L.L.A. (and according some, he’s the league’s best rapper ). In the new campaign, Dame D.O.L.L.A. drops the new song he wrote himself in a spot and music video. Last week, he teased the effort on Instagram, announcing he’d be releasing a new diss track. Today we find out that diss is directed toward cable, which doesn’t compare to Hulu’s 65 live channels, a streaming library, new originals and big movies—”It’s a lifestyle … all the time,” he preaches.
The track is available on all major music streaming platforms. The music video debuted today on Hulu’s YouTube channel and the 30-second national broadcast ad dropped thing morning during “Good Morning America.” The campaign was created out of Big Family Table and directed by Hungry Man’s Dave Laden, who were also behind the brand’s “Live Sports” ads from last year, which involved deepfaking athletes’ faces onto substitute bodies.
