A new ad from Hulu finds NBA star Damian Lillard of the Portland Trailblazers, the New York Yankees’ Aaron Judge and WNBA pro Skylar Diggins-Smith stuck at home during the pandemic not making the most of their athletic talents. Instead Lillard expends too much energy trying to perfect his sourdough, Judge plucks his ukelele a bit too enthusiastically while Diggins-Smith struggles to capture her own likeness on canvas.

Thankfully, however, the ad announces that “Hulu Has Live Sports" again, so the pros are able to ditch their pastimes and get back in the game.

The new spot is the latest in the brand’s “Hulu Sellouts” campaign, which has been running over the past 18 months and also included the brand’s Super Bowl with an ad starring Tom Brady

The ad was created out of Big Family Table under quarantine restrictions. It involved shooting body doubles and then replacing their heads with those of the athletes in post-production.

Dave Laden of Hungry Man, who has documented his own quarantine life in comedic shorts, was director.
