IHOP introduces cereal pancakes with the help of a 'Child Executive Officer'
New ads from Droga5 show the little exec offering up ideas like a pool of cereal

IHOP is introducing "cereal pancakes" to its menu in a new campaign starring a "Child Executive Officer."
In what the company calls the first of a series of new "nostalgia-fueled" menu innovations, the new items include pancakes made with Lucky Charms, Cap’n Crunch and Cinnamon Toast Crunch.
The campaign is created via Droga5, with the spots directed by Ulf Johansson via Smith & Jones. They include one showing a little girl take charge of an IHOP board meeting to explain the products and the fact that kids will eat free from 4-10pm each day "because we don't have any money." She also comes up with the idea of a pool full of cereal, which the adults around the boardroom table then enjoy. In a second spot, she takes the board through a series of slides about the products, ending with a huge waterslide.
Further menu items being introduced the child CEO will appear throughout March.
