Kawasaki’s amusing Super Bowl commercial, released online in late January, shows the brand’s off-road Ridge vehicle having a curious effect on people—it gives them instant mullets.
Now, in a perfect extension of the campaign, hair salon chain Great Clips is actually bestowing mullets on people in partnership with Kawasaki. The first 15,000 fans who sign up at greatclips.com/biggamegreatmullets will receive a coupon for a free Achy Breaky Big Mistakey at any participating Great Clips salon in the U.S. and Canada.
If you miss out, you can still get a $2 off coupon for a future haircut at Great Clips.

The mullet is enjoying something of a resurgence lately. This partnerships gives Great Clips some ownership of that, as well as visibility through a connection to a Super Bowl campaign.
