The Los Angeles Rams and Sleep Number tell the story of safety Jordan Fuller’s return from injury
Recovery is a ‘Numbers Game’ in two-minute-plus content piece from Rams Studios and director Aaron Rolo

Proper rest is critical for anyone to function well. But Sleep Number and the Los Angeles Rams use the extreme example of an NFL player returning from injury in a new short film that emphasizes how recovery “is a numbers game.”
Director Aaron Rolo worked with Rams Studios on the two-minute-plus piece, which features safety Jordan Fuller reflecting on his injuries—and seeing his recovery through the lens of data. Sleep Number’s brand presence is subtle though consistent throughout the film, communicating that individualized sleep on a Sleep Number smart bed helps contribute to better performance.
“We are proud of our work with Jordan and the L.A. Rams Sports Medicine and Performance staff on his recovery,” Patrick Campion, said Sleep Number’s VP of marketing, planning and brand partnerships. “It’s a great example of how individualizing your sleep on a Sleep Number smart bed elevates your game to the next level and we are very excited to share his story with fans.”
“A good night’s sleep is critical for my recovery and my performance,” added Fuller. “Over the years, I’ve grown to realize how much more productive I can be throughout the hours I’m awake if I get the proper amount of rest. When you add Sleep Number to the mix, it’s a game changer.”
Jennifer Prince, chief commercial officer of the Rams, said the project “embodies everything we mean when we talk about partnering with purpose. While the authentic integration of Sleep Number’s technology into our recovery process is the foundation, this storytelling gives our fans a unique look into our partnership and the incredible commitment Jordan made to return to the field this season.”
Fuller was drafted by the Rams in the sixth round (199th overall) in 2020. He became a team captain the following year but was hurt in January 2022—and missed most of the following season with a separate injury. This season he is back and health, and once again has been named a team captain.
In the sports world, the Rams are well known for their marketing content—in particular, for their series of star-studded, high-concept NFL Draft videos, the most recent of which featured Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul cooking up a winning formula for the team’s picks.
