Charles Dance (who plays Tywin Lannister in Game of Thrones) is the intimidating narrator of this beautiful, scary promo created by the BBC to promote its coverage of the Sochi Winter Olympics. The dark spot via RKCR Y&R showcases the power of nature in all its snowy glory. Mr. Dance personifies Nature himself, warning athletes trying to overcome snowy mountains and desolate terrain that he was able to defeat those who came before them.

Nevertheless, the poetic film ends with a group shot of winter athletes reaching a mountaintop -- and a ray of hope: "But now you stand before me/ Devoid of all dismay/ Could it be? Just maybe/ I'll let you have your day."
