Michael Buble can now propose to you in O2's augmented reality app
Fans get a 3D video avatar of the singer on their smartphones ahead of his gig in London

Maybe he just hasn't met you yet. But Michael Bublé might be proposing to you via your smartphone, thanks to an augmented reality app dreamed up by U.K. mobile brand O2.
To create some buzz ahead of his gig at The O2 venue in London this weekend (September 29), O2 and agency R/GA staged a shoot with Bublé using volumetric 3D capture technology to create a fully 3D video avatar of the singer that, according to the brand, gives a true representation of his real-life actions.
After downloading the O2 app, fans will be able to pose with the Bublé avatar for selfies and movies on their phone. After appearing in a puff of smoke on the smartphone screen, the avatar either beckons you over, kisses you or proposes on one knee (with a twist, we're told -- which is probably a good thing, because he's actually married in real life).
He can also be pivoted, scaled and rotated depending on the surrounding environment. Fans are encouraged to use the hashtag #O2Live when uploading their Bublé photos to social.
