Jeff Low directs a fun ad from Publicis Conseil showcasing the telecom brand's smart tech

Forget heartwarming Christmas ads about Santa: French telecom brand Orange takes the opportunity to showcase how its tech could help you trap him in its fun, festive spot.
Created by Publicis Conseil and directed by Jeff Low via La Pac, the ad depicts a bunch of kids who use Orange's "connected home" technology to capture Santa, SWAT-team style, when he arrives on Christmas Eve. Via some ingenious communication and tools that help them turn devices on remotely, they capture him so they can achieve their ultimate aim—to take a selfie with him. (It's kind of like a celebrity's worst paparazzi nightmare.)
Set to a punked-up version of "Jingle Bells," the ad will air in cinemas and TV in France, with the 60-second broadcast ad running during the half-time of the France-Moldova soccer game. Other elements include print, digital, and social media using the hashtag “#AttrapezNoël”.
