DirecTV : Shower

Don't let it take over your life.

Editor's Pick

Good technology is, first and foremost, unobtrusive. The bells and whistles come later. Grey New York releases a brand-new campaign for DirecTV which nicely brings to life your cable company's problematic DVR -- and how it literally starts ruining your life.

Three spots feature the "Conflict Box" showing up at the most inopportune moments -- interrupting your shower, your time in the bedroom and your kid's sleep. It's like that annoying frenemy you just can't get rid of, or worse, like a creepy stalker (especially in the shower scenario) that you need to call the cops on, stat. You'll especially like the quarrelsome relationship between the husband and wife, full of familiar passive aggressiveness that only DirecTV could make all better. Tom Kuntz of MJZ directs.
