Sleep with your iPhone to create personal art
BETC and ACNE transform hotel project into an app
Editor's Pick
Following their Sleep Art project released last October, hotel brand Ibis, BETC Digital Paris and ACNE have teamed up once again to create an iPhone app based on the idea.
The aim is to bring the Sleep Art experience to everyone, not just guests at Ibis hotels, so that any user can see their sleep patterns transformed into an original, digital work of art.
Having downloaded the free app, the user sets the alarm clock and places the phone on the mattress. The app runs all through the night and in the morning, the sleeper is woken by music. They can then view their artwork, following the progress of how the painting took form, minute by minute, on the screen. Artworks are stored in a gallery and users can compare each night's sleep and share their results via email or on Facebook.
