A young woman who sees her own face in everyone around her in Pizza Hut's new spot promoting its new "Melts" product -- highlighting that it's designed as individual snack and not for sharing.

The spot, titled “World of Me,” shows the protagonist walking around a metropolitan area eating a Melt, which resembles a folded slice of pizza filled with cheese and other toppings and was released by the brand on Oct. 18. With each bite, she encounters someone, a flower seller or a person reading a magazine, who ends up being her,(in a scenario somewhat reminiscent of the Spike Jonze movie "Being John Malkovich.")

The only person who doesn’t end up being her is a person sitting in a car at the end, who is also eating a Melt and ends up being the brand’s representative and actor Craig Robinson. “It’s not a pizza, it’s a melt. And for $6.99, it’s just for you,” says Robinson in a voiceover.

As well as the ad, the idea is likely to get some traction on TikTok after the actor in the commercial, Oriana Siphanoum, created behind-the-scenes TikToks talking about why she wore a wig on set (to help with continuity) and whether the food she was eating was real (it was).

The spot, created by agency GSD&M and directed by Bobby Louise and Brig of Tool, is running on national TV including NBC's Sunday Night Football, Bachelor in Paradise, and College Gameday along with social platforms including YouTube, ESPN, Snapchat, TikTok and Twitch.

Earlier in October, Pizza Hut also emphasized the point that Melts are not for sharing by asking people to sign a “Melts Disclosure Agreement (MDA)” to not to talk about it on social media and elsewhere.
