A Singing Toilet Reminds You Why November 19 is a Very Special Day
Muppet-like Character Makes a Very Serious Point
Editor's Pick
The success of campaigns like Metro's "Dumb Ways to Die" shows us how effective cute can be in communicating an important, serious message. That's the same approach WaterAid is taking in this hilarious film about a singing loo reminding us how lucky we are to have a proper place to go number one and number number two.
The film, created out of agency Now and directed by The Glue Society's Gary Freedman, promotes World Toilet Day on November 19, and features a muppet-like toilet crooning about how we can take for granted the basic luxury of a porcelain pot, while 2,000 kids around the world die every day because they lack proper sanitation and clean water supply. It's Water Aid's goal to change that, with viewers' help.
