The Martin Agency has promoted Jerry Hoak, previously an executive creative director at the agency, to chief creative officer.
Hoak takes on the role following the promotion of former CCO Danny Robinson to CEO earlier this week.
Hoak has had a significant impact on The Martin Agency since he joined in 2016. He has helped win 18 new business pitches and led teams on pitches for DoorDash, Anheuser-Busch InBev, Carmax, Google, and Papa Johns.
“As a childhood cancer survivor I’ve always been a fighter. The Martin Agency is a special place and I am so fortunate to have had the privilege of fighting for the people, the work, and our client partners for the last seven years,” Hoak said in a statement. “And now I get to be in the incredible position to also fight for our industry.”
