Angela Courtin is at the center of one of the hottest topics of conversation in marketing right now.
In 2011, she joined Aegis in a new role that would span its agency brands, including Carat, Isobar, Vizeum, Posterscope, Epic and iProspect. The hire was in line with a number of leadership and organizational changes that moved Carat and the other specialty groups onto one P&L. Since taking on the role, she has spearheaded the launch of branded content unit The Story Lab and continues to support clients such as GM, Macy's, Pernod Ricard and Adidas. Her group is in such demand that she has plans to grow and expand the group's content capabilities globally.
"I feel very fortunate to have been at the forefront of the intersection of brand and content," said Ms. Courtin, who has also worked at MTV and MySpace. "All of these career stops have led to this moment, from writing my first proposal for a TV station added-value idea to co-creating a TV show for a brand."
