There’s no one-size-fits-all approach to advertising. As media has fractured, there are a million ways to crack a brief—from ripped-from-the-headlines social media plays to good old-fashioned film work.
We saw a bit of all this across our favorite campaigns this week.
Several pieces in our Top 5 are highly crafted films. One is the opposite—a set of gloriously low-fi videos that feel right for the campaign’s absurdist tone. And one campaign nicely hit up a few different media as it cleverly tapped into a cultural conversation in sports.
