“He Gets Us,” the ad campaign centered around rebranding Jesus for the contemporary world, will be returning to the Super Bowl in 2025.
Come Near, the non-profit that manages the “He Gets Us” ads, will be airing a 60-second spot during the first half of the game. This will be its third consecutive year in the Super Bowl.
Come Near didn’t share the spot, which a spokesman confirmed is titled “What is Greatness?” The spot will “explore what Jesus showed and said greatness is and the contrast to how culture defines greatness today,” Come Near stated.
Dallas-based agency Lerma/ produced this year’s spot and has led all of the prior “He Gets Us” Super Bowl work.
A Spanish language version will air on the Fox Deportes broadcast. “He Gets Us” is also sponsoring a music festival headlined by Jon Batiste on Feb. 8 in New Orleans’s Ninth Ward.
