Nerds is heading back to the Super Bowl as it aims to build off the momentum of its first Big Game ad earlier this year.
The 30-second spot will once again be handled by Digitas Chicago. Nerds did not say when it would air during the Feb. 9 game on Fox. iProspect handled the media buy.
The Ferrara candy brand “increased household penetration by almost 3.3 points for all of the Nerds portfolio, and 5.6 points for Nerds Gummy Clusters,” following its Super Bowl debut, which highlighted the gummy clusters, said Greg Guidotti, chief marketing officer at Ferrara. Nerds’ total household penetration is now 20%, he said.
